Fine Young Cannibals were a British band formed in Birmingham, England in 1984. The band consisted of members Roland Gift (vocals), Andy Cox (guitar), and David Steele (bass). They were known for their unique blend of pop, soul, and rock music. The band achieved significant commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s.


Their self-titled debut album, "Fine Young Cannibals," released in 1985, received critical acclaim and included hit singles like "Johnny Come Home" and "Suspicious Minds." The band's second album, "The Raw & the Cooked," released in 1988, was even more successful, featuring chart-topping hits such as "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing." Fine Young Cannibals disbanded in 1992, but their music continues to be celebrated for its catchy melodies and distinctive sound blending various genres.
