Artist Bio:
First Choice was an American girl group formed in Philadelphia in 1971. The original members were Rochelle Fleming, Annette Guest, and Joyce Jones. They were one of the first female groups signed to the legendary soul music label, Salsoul Records. First Choice is best known for their hit songs "Armed and Extremely Dangerous" and "Doctor Love," which both became disco classics in the 1970s. Their music was characterized by strong vocals, catchy melodies, and a funky disco sound that was popular during that era. The group continued to release music and tour throughout the 1970s and 1980s, with various lineup changes, before eventually disbanding in the late 1980s.

Despite their relatively short time in the spotlight, First Choice left a lasting impact on the disco and soul music scenes, with their songs still being played and sampled by DJs and artists today. Their music continues to be celebrated for its infectious energy and timeless appeal, cementing their legacy as pioneers of disco music.
