Artist Bio:
The Five Man Electrical Band was a Canadian rock group formed in Ottawa in 1969. The band consisted of Les Emmerson, Ted Gerow, Brian Rading, Vern Craig, and Rick Belanger. They are best known for their hit single "Signs," which was released in 1971 and became a major success, reaching the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The Five Man Electrical Band continued to release music throughout the 1970s but did not achieve the same level of commercial success as they did with "Signs." They eventually disbanded in the late 1970s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, the band left a lasting impact on the music industry with their socially conscious lyrics and catchy melodies.
