Artist Bio:
Five Stairsteps & Cubie was an American family group consisting of five siblings: Alohe, Clarence Jr., James, Dennis, and Kenneth "Keni" Burke, as well as their cousin, Cubie. They were a soul music group formed in Chicago in 1965. The group's name was inspired by the fact that the siblings were different heights, resembling a staircase.

Five Stairsteps & Cubie gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s with hits such as "O-o-h Child" and "Don't Change Your Love." They were known for their tight harmonies and soulful sound, which earned them a place in the R&B music scene of the time. Despite their success, the group disbanded in the mid-1970s, with some members pursuing solo careers in music.
