Artist Bio:
Folk Implosion was an American indie rock band formed in 1993 by Lou Barlow and John Davis. The band gained recognition in the 1990s for their lo-fi sound and experimental approach to blending folk, rock, and electronic music. They are best known for their hit song "Natural One" from the soundtrack of the movie "Kids."


The band released several albums during their career, including "Dare to Be Surprised" in 1997 and "One Part Lullaby" in 1999. Despite their critical success, Folk Implosion disbanded in 2004. Lou Barlow went on to focus on his solo career and other projects, while John Davis pursued a career in music production and engineering. Folk Implosion's unique sound and contributions to the indie rock scene continue to be remembered and appreciated by fans of alternative music.
