Artist Bio:
Foo Fighters is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1994 by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. The band's name is derived from a term used by Allied aircraft pilots during World War II to describe unidentified flying objects. Grohl initially recorded a demo album playing all the instruments himself, before recruiting band members to create the full lineup. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 1995 and included hits like "This Is a Call" and "Big Me".

Since their debut, Foo Fighters have released nine studio albums, with hits such as "Everlong," "Learn to Fly," and "The Pretender." They have won multiple Grammy Awards and have consistently received critical acclaim for their energetic live performances and ability to blend elements of punk, hard rock, and alternative rock. Foo Fighters have become one of the most successful and enduring rock bands of the past few decades, with a dedicated fan base around the world.
