Foreigner is a British-American rock band that was formed in 1976. The band's original lineup consisted of members from both sides of the Atlantic, including Mick Jones (English guitarist), Lou Gramm (American vocalist), Ian McDonald (English multi-instrumentalist), and Dennis Elliott (English drummer). Foreigner achieved great commercial success in the late 1970s and 1980s with hit songs such as "I Want to Know What Love Is," "Cold as Ice," "Hot Blooded," and "Urgent."
Throughout their career, Foreigner has released a total of nine studio albums, with their self-titled debut album released in 1977 being one of their most successful. The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Mick Jones being the only original member still actively involved. Despite the changes, Foreigner continues to tour and perform to this day, maintaining a strong fan base worldwide.
