Artist Bio

Artist Bio:
The Four Tops were an American vocal quartet formed in 1953 in Detroit, Michigan. The group's original lineup consisted of Levi Stubbs, Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton. They are known for their smooth harmonies and energetic stage performances, and they became one of the most popular and successful Motown groups of the 1960s and 1970s.

The Four Tops achieved numerous hit songs, including "Baby I Need Your Loving," "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)," and "Reach Out I'll Be There." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and have received many other honors recognizing their contributions to music. The group continued to perform and record music until the passing of original member Levi Stubbs in 2008.
