Artist Bio:
The Four Tops are an American vocal quartet that rose to fame in the 1960s. The group was formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1953 and consists of lead singer Levi Stubbs, Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton. They are best known for their dynamic vocal harmonies and their soulful R&B sound.


The Four Tops achieved commercial success with hit songs such as "Baby I Need Your Loving," "Reach Out I'll Be There," and "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)." They were signed to the Motown label and became one of the label's most successful acts. The group has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and their music continues to be celebrated for its timeless appeal and influence on the soul and R&B genres.
