Artist Bio:
The Four Tops are an American vocal quartet that was formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1953. The group originally consisted of Levi Stubbs, Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton. They are known for their soulful and emotive vocal performances, as well as their unique blend of R&B, doo-wop, and pop music. The Four Tops achieved commercial success in the 1960s and 1970s with hits like "Baby I Need Your Loving," "Reach Out I'll Be There," and "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)."

The group has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and they received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009. Despite changes in the music industry over the years, the Four Tops have continued to perform and tour, with Duke Fakir being the only surviving original member. Their music remains popular with audiences around the world, and they are considered one of the most successful and enduring vocal groups in the history of popular music.
