Artist Bio:
The Four Tops were an American vocal quartet formed in 1953 in Detroit, Michigan. The group achieved fame and success during the 1960s and 1970s, known for their smooth harmonies and emotive performances. The original lineup consisted of Levi Stubbs, Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton.


The Four Tops had a string of hit songs, including "Reach Out I'll Be There," "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)," and "Baby I Need Your Loving." They were one of Motown Records' most successful acts, known for their soulful sound and energetic stage presence. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and continued to perform and record music until the passing of Levi Stubbs in 2008.
