Frank Sinatra, born on December 12, 1915, in Hoboken, New Jersey, was an American singer, actor, and producer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential musical artists of the 20th century. He began his music career in the 1930s as a member of the popular big band group, the Harry James Orchestra, and later the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. Sinatra's solo career took off in the 1940s, and he quickly became known for his smooth voice, impeccable phrasing, and charismatic stage presence.


Sinatra's career spanned over six decades, during which he released numerous hit songs, won multiple Grammy Awards, and starred in many successful films. Some of his most famous songs include "My Way," "Fly Me to the Moon," and "New York, New York." Sinatra was also a prominent member of the "Rat Pack," a group of entertainers that included Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and others. He passed away on May 14, 1998, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most iconic figures in American music history.
