Frank Sinatra, born Francis Albert Sinatra on December 12, 1915, in Hoboken, New Jersey, was an American singer and actor widely regarded as one of the greatest musical artists of the 20th century. He began his music career in the 1930s as a member of the Harry James and Tommy Dorsey bands before launching a successful solo career. Sinatra's distinctive voice, impeccable phrasing, and emotional delivery made him a beloved icon of the music industry. He released numerous hit songs, including "My Way," "New York, New York," and "Fly Me to the Moon."

In addition to his music career, Sinatra also found success in acting, starring in films such as "From Here to Eternity," for which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, and "The Manchurian Candidate." Known as "Ol' Blue Eyes" and "The Chairman of the Board," Sinatra's influence on popular music and culture continues to be felt long after his passing in 1998.
