Artist Bio:
Free is a British rock band formed in London in 1968. The band is best known for their 1970 hit single "All Right Now," which reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart and number 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has since become a classic rock anthem and is widely regarded as one of the greatest rock songs of all time.
The band's lineup consisted of lead vocalist Paul Rodgers, guitarist Paul Kossoff, bassist Andy Fraser, and drummer Simon Kirke. Free released six studio albums between 1969 and 1973, before disbanding in 1973 due to creative differences among the members. Despite their relatively short career, Free's music continues to be influential in the rock genre, with their raw and bluesy sound earning them a place in rock music history.
