Artist Bio:
Frijid Pink was an American rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1967. The band's most famous lineup consisted of Rick Stevers on drums, Gary Ray Thompson on guitar, Tom Harris on bass, Larry Zelanka on keyboards, and Kelly Green as the lead vocalist. They are best known for their hard rock cover of the song "House of the Rising Sun", which became a hit in 1970, reaching number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.


Frijid Pink released three albums during their career: "Frijid Pink" (1970), "Defrosted" (1970), and "Earth Omen" (1972). Their music was characterized by heavy guitar riffs, psychedelic influences, and powerful vocals. Despite achieving some commercial success with their hit single, the band eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s. Frijid Pink's music continues to be appreciated by fans of classic rock and has left a lasting impact on the genre.
