Fuel is an American rock band formed in 1989 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The band's original lineup consisted of Brett Scallions on vocals and guitar, Carl Bell on guitar, Jeff Abercrombie on bass, and Kevin Miller on drums. Fuel gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their hit singles "Shimmer," "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)," and "Bad Day," which all received significant radio airplay.
Fuel released their debut album, "Sunburn," in 1998, followed by their sophomore album, "Something Like Human," in 2000, which achieved commercial success and was certified double platinum in the United States. The band went through several lineup changes over the years, with Brett Scallions being the only consistent member. Fuel has released a total of five studio albums, with their latest being "Puppet Strings" in 2014. They continue to tour and perform live, showcasing their hard rock sound and energetic performances to audiences worldwide.
