Fuel is an American rock band formed in 1989 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The band gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their post-grunge sound. Their debut album, "Sunburn," was released in 1998 and featured the hit single "Shimmer." The album was certified platinum in the United States. Fuel's second album, "Something Like Human," was released in 2000 and included the successful singles "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and "Innocent." The album also achieved platinum status.
Fuel went through several lineup changes over the years, with lead vocalist Brett Scallions being the only constant member. Despite the changes, the band continued to release music and tour. Fuel has released a total of five studio albums, with their most recent being "Puppet Strings" in 2014. They have toured with various well-known bands and have maintained a loyal fan base throughout their career.
