Garbage is an American-Scottish alternative rock band formed in Madison, Wisconsin in 1993. The band consists of vocalist Shirley Manson, guitarist Duke Erikson, drummer Butch Vig, and guitarist Steve Marker. Garbage achieved critical acclaim and commercial success with their self-titled debut album released in 1995, which featured hits like "Stupid Girl" and "Only Happy When It Rains."
