Butch Vig, the drummer, is also known for his work as a record producer, having produced albums for bands such as Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins. The band's sound is a blend of rock, electronic, and pop elements, with Manson's distinctive vocals being a standout feature.
Garbage gained commercial success with their self-titled debut album released in 1995, which included hits like "Stupid Girl" and "Only Happy When It Rains."
