Artist Bio

Artist Bio:
Garry Mills was a British pop singer who gained popularity in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was born on October 13, 1941, in West Wickham, Kent, England. Mills signed with Top Rank Records in 1958 and released his debut single, "Look for a Star," in 1960. The song became a major hit, reaching number 16 on the UK Singles Chart and number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

In addition to "Look for a Star," Mills released several other singles during his music career, including "I'll Step Down," "Top Teen Baby," and "Seven Little Girls." While Mills did not achieve the same level of success with subsequent releases as he did with his debut single, he continued to record music and perform live throughout the 1960s. Garry Mills' music is often associated with the early days of British pop music and his hit song "Look for a Star" remains a classic of the era.
