Artist Bio:
Gary Glitter, born Paul Francis Gadd in 1944, is a British former glam rock singer and songwriter. He rose to fame in the 1970s with hits such as "Rock and Roll (Part 2)" and "I Love You Love Me Love". Glitter was known for his extravagant stage presence, glittery costumes, and catchy anthems that became popular in the UK and internationally. He was a prominent figure in the glam rock era and influenced many artists with his flamboyant style and energetic performances.

However, Gary Glitter's career came to a halt in the late 1990s when he was convicted of possession of child pornography, followed by further convictions for child sexual abuse. His crimes led to his fall from grace and he was subsequently imprisoned. Glitter's music was largely removed from the public eye as a result of his criminal actions, tarnishing his once celebrated career in the music industry.
