Gene Thomas and Debbe Neville were an American pop music duo known as Gene and Debbe. They were active in the 1960s and released several singles together. Their most successful song was "Playboy," which reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1968. The duo was known for their harmonious vocals and catchy pop tunes.
Gene and Debbe were signed to TRX Records and later to Atlantic Records. They released a few other singles, including "Go with Me" and "Love Will Give Us Wings," but none achieved the same level of success as "Playboy." Despite their relatively short-lived career, Gene and Debbe left a mark on the pop music scene of the 1960s with their infectious melodies and harmonies.
