Artist Bio:
Gene Thomas is a Belgian singer-songwriter born on January 22, 1949. He gained popularity in the 1960s with his hit song "Sommer in Griechenland" ("Summer in Greece"), which topped the charts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Thomas continued to release music throughout the 1970s and 1980s, with some of his notable songs including "Voor Haar" ("For Her") and "Daarom Zeg Ik Nee" ("That's Why I Say No").


In addition to his music career, Gene Thomas has also worked as a television host and actor. He appeared in the Belgian soap opera "Familie" and has participated in various reality TV shows. Thomas remains active in the music industry, occasionally releasing new music and performing live.
