Artist Bio:
George Harrison was a British musician, singer, and songwriter, best known for being the lead guitarist of The Beatles. Born on February 25, 1943, in Liverpool, England, he joined the band in 1958 and played a key role in their success, contributing vocals and songwriting to many of their hits. Harrison's interest in Indian spirituality and music influenced the band's sound, leading to songs like "Norwegian Wood" and "Within You Without You."
After The Beatles disbanded in 1970, Harrison pursued a successful solo career, releasing several albums, including the critically acclaimed "All Things Must Pass." He was also a member of the Traveling Wilburys supergroup. Harrison was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, once as a member of The Beatles and once as a solo artist. He passed away on November 29, 2001, leaving behind a legacy as one of the greatest guitarists and songwriters in rock history.
