Artist Bio:
George Harrison was an English musician, singer, and songwriter, famously known as the lead guitarist of the Beatles. He was born on February 25, 1943, in Liverpool, England, and passed away on November 29, 2001, in Los Angeles, California, USA. Harrison was often referred to as "the quiet Beatle" due to his reserved nature within the band. He was a key contributor to the Beatles' sound, incorporating elements of Indian music and spirituality into their work.
Apart from his work with the Beatles, Harrison had a successful solo career, releasing several critically acclaimed albums including "All Things Must Pass" and "Living in the Material World." He also organized the Concert for Bangladesh in 1971, one of the first major benefit concerts in history. Harrison was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2004, and posthumously as a member of the Beatles in 1988.
