Gerald Levert was an American R&B singer, songwriter, and producer, born on July 13, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of Eddie Levert, Sr., the lead vocalist of the soul music group The O'Jays. Gerald Levert gained fame as a member of the R&B group LeVert, which he formed with his brother Sean and friend Marc Gordon. He later pursued a successful solo career, releasing several albums that showcased his soulful voice and songwriting skills. Gerald Levert was known for hits such as "Casanova" and "Baby Hold On to Me." He tragically passed away on November 10, 2006, at the age of 40.
