Artist Bio:
Gerry and the Pacemakers were a British beat group formed in Liverpool in 1959. They were managed by Brian Epstein, who also managed The Beatles. The original lineup consisted of Gerry Marsden as the lead vocalist, his brother Freddie Marsden on drums, Les Chadwick on bass, and Arthur Mack on piano.

The band was known for their hit singles in the 1960s, including "How Do You Do It?", "I Like It", and their famous cover of the song "You'll Never Walk Alone". They were the second group to sign with Epstein after The Beatles and became the first act to reach number one in the UK Singles Chart with their first three single releases. Gerry and the Pacemakers disbanded in 1966 but left a lasting impact on the British music scene of the 1960s.
