Artist Bio:
Gerry and the Pacemakers were a British beat group formed in the 1960s. They were managed by Brian Epstein, who also managed The Beatles. The band's original lineup consisted of Gerry Marsden as the lead vocalist and guitarist, his brother Fred Marsden on drums, Les Chadwick on bass, and Arthur McMahon on piano.

They were the second group to sign with Epstein, and they achieved success with their first three singles reaching number one in the UK Singles Chart. Their most famous hits include "Ferry Cross the Mersey" and their signature song "You'll Never Walk Alone." The band disbanded in 1966, but they left a lasting impact on the British music scene and are considered one of the leading bands of the Merseybeat era. Gerry and the Pacemakers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
