Artist Bio:
Gidea Park featuring Adrian Baker was a British pop music group formed in the early 1980s. The group was fronted by lead singer Adrian Baker and was named after a suburb in London. They gained popularity with their cover of the 1960s hit "Beach Baby" by First Class, which was released in 1981. The song reached the Top 40 on the UK Singles Chart and received airplay on radio stations worldwide.

Adrian Baker, the lead singer of Gidea Park, had a successful music career prior to forming the group. He was a member of the band The Flower Pot Men, who had a hit single in 1967 with "Let's Go to San Francisco." Gidea Park featuring Adrian Baker continued to release music throughout the 1980s, but they were best known for their cover of "Beach Baby."
