Artist Bio:
Gin Blossoms is an American rock band formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona. The band's original lineup consisted of Robin Wilson (vocals), Jesse Valenzuela (guitar, vocals), Doug Hopkins (guitar), Bill Leen (bass), and Phillip Rhodes (drums). They gained popularity in the early 1990s with their jangle pop sound and catchy melodies.
Their breakthrough album, "New Miserable Experience," was released in 1992 and included hit singles like "Hey Jealousy" and "Found Out About You." Despite the success of the album, the band faced internal struggles, particularly with guitarist Doug Hopkins who was later replaced by Scott Johnson. Gin Blossoms continued to release music throughout the 1990s and 2000s, with hits like "Til I Hear It from You" and "Follow You Down." They have maintained a loyal fan base and continue to tour and release new music to this day.
