The group consisted of lead singer Gladys Knight and her backing vocalists/brother Merald "Bubba" Knight and cousins Edward Patten and William Guest. They achieved commercial success with hits such as "Midnight Train to Georgia," "If I Were Your Woman," and "Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)."
Gladys Knight and the Pips were known for their smooth harmonies, powerful vocals, and dynamic stage performances.
