Glass Tiger is a Canadian rock band formed in Newmarket, Ontario in 1983. The band consists of Alan Frew on lead vocals, Alan Connelly on guitar, Sam Reid on keyboard, Wayne Parker on bass, and Michael Hanson on drums. They achieved international success in the mid-1980s with their hit single "Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)" from their debut album "The Thin Red Line" released in 1986. The song reached number one in Canada and number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
In addition to "Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)," Glass Tiger had several other hits including "Someday," "I Will Be There," and "Diamond Sun." The band has released a total of five studio albums and continues to perform live, showcasing their signature blend of pop and rock music that made them popular in the 1980s.
