Artist Bio:
Glen Campbell was an American singer, musician, songwriter, and actor born on April 22, 1936, in Billstown, Arkansas. He was known for his distinctive voice and country music hits, as well as for his crossover success in popular music. Campbell released over 70 albums and sold more than 45 million records during his career, earning numerous awards and accolades including Grammy Awards, Country Music Association Awards, and Academy of Country Music Awards.


In addition to his music career, Campbell also appeared in movies and television shows, including a role in the 1969 film "True Grit" alongside John Wayne. He is perhaps best known for hits such as "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Gentle on My Mind," and "Wichita Lineman." Campbell was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and continued to perform and record music until his death on August 8, 2017, after a battle with Alzheimer's disease.
