Artist Bio:
Glen Campbell was an American singer, songwriter, and actor born on April 22, 1936, in Billstown, Arkansas. He achieved great success in the music industry with hits such as "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Wichita Lineman," and "Gentle on My Mind." Campbell released over 70 albums throughout his career and received numerous awards, including multiple Grammy Awards and Country Music Association Awards. In addition to his music career, Campbell also appeared in films and television shows, such as the 1969 film "True Grit" alongside John Wayne.


Campbell was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. Sadly, he passed away on August 8, 2017, after a battle with Alzheimer's disease. Despite his passing, Campbell's music continues to be celebrated and remembered by fans around the world.
