Artist Bio:
Glen Campbell was an American singer, songwriter, and actor born on April 22, 1936, in Billstown, Arkansas. He is best known for his country and pop music hits in the 1960s and 1970s. Campbell released over 70 albums and sold more than 45 million records throughout his career. He is perhaps most famous for songs like "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Wichita Lineman," and "Gentle on My Mind."


Campbell also had a successful acting career, appearing in films such as "True Grit" alongside John Wayne. He won numerous awards during his career, including multiple Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Country Music. Campbell was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005. He passed away on August 8, 2017, after a battle with Alzheimer's disease.
