Artist Bio:
Glen Campbell was an American singer, songwriter, and actor born on April 22, 1936, in Billstown, Arkansas. He rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s with hits such as "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Wichita Lineman," and "Gentle on My Mind." Campbell was known for his smooth voice, country music style, and crossover success in both country and pop music genres.


In addition to his music career, Campbell also appeared in several films and television shows, including his own variety show, "The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour." He won numerous awards throughout his career, including Grammy Awards, Country Music Association Awards, and American Music Awards. Campbell was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005. He passed away on August 8, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
