Glenn Frey was an American singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as a founding member of the rock band Eagles. He was born on November 6, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, and passed away on January 18, 2016, in New York City at the age of 67. Frey played a key role in the success of the Eagles, contributing vocals, guitar, and keyboards to the band's iconic sound. He co-wrote many of the band's biggest hits, including "Take It Easy," "Tequila Sunrise," and "Hotel California."
