Frey was a key member of the Eagles, contributing vocals, guitar, and keyboards to the band's iconic sound. He co-wrote many of the band's biggest hits, including "Take It Easy," "Tequila Sunrise," and "Hotel California."


In addition to his work with the Eagles, Frey had a successful solo career with hits like "The Heat Is On" and "You Belong to the City."
