Artist Bio:
Glenn Frey was an American singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as a founding member of the rock band the Eagles. He was born on November 6, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, and passed away on January 18, 2016, in New York City at the age of 67. Frey was a key figure in the success of the Eagles, contributing as a lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter on many of the band's biggest hits, including "Take It Easy," "Peaceful Easy Feeling," and "Lyin' Eyes."


Aside from his work with the Eagles, Frey also had a successful solo career, releasing several albums and scoring hits such as "The Heat Is On" and "You Belong to the City." In addition to his music career, Frey had some success as an actor, appearing in TV shows and movies. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles in 1998.
