Artist Bio:
Go West is a British pop duo formed in 1982 by lead vocalist Peter Cox and rhythm guitarist Richard Drummie. They achieved success in the 1980s and 1990s with several hit singles and albums. Their debut album, "Go West," was released in 1985 and included the hit single "We Close Our Eyes," which reached the top 5 in the UK singles chart. The duo's follow-up album, "Dancing on the Couch," was released in 1987 and featured the hit singles "Don't Look Down" and "True Colours."


In 1990, Go West gained international success with their single "King of Wishful Thinking," which was featured on the soundtrack of the movie "Pretty Woman." The song became a top 10 hit in the US and UK. Throughout their career, Go West continued to release music and tour, maintaining a dedicated fan base. Their music is characterized by catchy pop melodies, strong vocals, and a blend of electronic and rock elements.
