The band consists of twin brothers Joel Madden (lead vocals) and Benji Madden (guitar, backing vocals), as well as Billy Martin (guitar, keyboards), Paul Thomas (bass), and Dean Butterworth (drums). Good Charlotte gained popularity in the early 2000s with their pop-punk sound and catchy songs that often addressed themes of adolescence, relationships, and social issues.
The band released their self-titled debut album in 2000, which included hits like "Little Things" and "Festival Song." They achieved mainstream success with their follow-up albums, "The Young and the Hopeless" (2002) and "The Chronicles of Life and Death" (2004). Good Charlotte has continued to release music and tour, evolving their sound over the years to incorporate elements of pop, rock, and dance music.
