They gained prominence in the mid-1990s as part of the Dungeon Family collective alongside OutKast.
Goodie Mob released their debut album, "Soul Food," in 1995, which received critical acclaim for its raw and introspective lyrics. The group continued to release several more albums over the years, including "Still Standing" in 1998 and "World Party" in 1999. Goodie Mob has been influential in the Southern hip hop scene and is considered a pioneering group that helped shape the genre.
