Artist Bio:
Graham Central Station was an American funk band named after its founder, Larry Graham, who was also the bass player for the legendary band Sly and the Family Stone. The band was formed in 1973 and was known for their energetic live performances and innovative fusion of funk, soul, and rock music. In addition to Larry Graham on bass, the band's lineup included Hershall "Happiness" Kennedy on drums, Robert "Butch" Sam on guitar, Patrice Banks on keyboards, and David "Dynamite" Vega on percussion.


Graham Central Station released several albums throughout the 1970s, including their self-titled debut album in 1974, which featured the hit single "Can You Handle It?" The band's unique sound and infectious grooves garnered them a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim. Graham Central Station's music continues to be celebrated by funk music enthusiasts and has left a lasting legacy in the world of funk music.
