Graham Central Station released several albums throughout the 1970s, including their self-titled debut album in 1974, which featured the hit single "Can You Handle It?" The band achieved commercial success and critical acclaim for their energetic live performances and innovative approach to funk music. Graham Central Station disbanded in the early 1980s, but Larry Graham continued to have a successful music career as a solo artist and collaborator with other musicians.
