Gravity Kills is an industrial rock band formed in 1994 in St. Louis, Missouri. The band consists of vocalist Jeff Scheel, guitarist Matt Dudenhoeffer, keyboardist Douglas Firley, and drummer Kurt Kerns. They gained popularity in the late 1990s with their self-titled debut album, released in 1996. The album included hit songs like "Guilty" and "Falling," which received significant airplay on rock radio stations.
Gravity Kills went on to release two more albums, "Perversion" in 1998 and "Superstarved" in 2002, before going on hiatus in 2003. The band reunited in 2011 and has continued to perform live shows sporadically. Gravity Kills is known for their energetic live performances and their blend of industrial rock with electronic elements, drawing comparisons to bands like Nine Inch Nails and Ministry.
