Great White is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977. The band gained popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s with their blend of hard rock and heavy metal music. Great White is best known for their hit songs "Once Bitten, Twice Shy," "Rock Me," and "Save Your Love." They have released several albums over the years, including their self-titled debut album in 1984 and "...Twice Shy" in 1989, which was their most commercially successful album, reaching double platinum status in the United States.

Great White has faced tragedy in their career, most notably the tragic fire at The Station nightclub in Rhode Island in 2003, where 100 people lost their lives during one of the band's performances. The band's original lead singer, Jack Russell, left the group in 2011 and formed his own version of Great White, while the remaining members continued to perform under the name. Great White continues to tour and release new music, with a dedicated fan base around the world.
