Great White is a hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977. The band gained popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s with their blend of hard rock and heavy metal music. They are best known for their hit songs "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and "Rock Me."
Great White's self-titled debut album was released in 1984, and they went on to release several more albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The band faced tragedy in 2003 when a pyrotechnics display at one of their concerts caused a fire that resulted in the deaths of 100 people. Despite this incident, Great White continues to perform and release new music, with several lineup changes over the years.
