Artist Bio:
GTR was a British rock supergroup formed in 1985, consisting of former Yes and Asia members Steve Howe and Geoff Downes, along with vocalist Max Bacon and drummer Jonathan Mover. The band's name is an acronym derived from the members' previous bands, Yes (G), Asia (T), and the Rock (R) genre.
GTR released their self-titled album in 1986, which achieved commercial success, reaching No. 11 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album featured the hit single "When the Heart Rules the Mind," which peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Despite their initial success, GTR disbanded in 1987 after a short-lived career, with the members moving on to pursue other musical projects.
