Gunhill Road was an American pop/rock band formed in the Bronx, New York in the early 1970s. The band consisted of members Glenn Leopold, Paul Reisch, and Steven Goldrich. They released their self-titled debut album in 1973 on Kama Sutra Records, which included the hit single "Back When My Hair Was Short." The song peaked at number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Despite their initial success, Gunhill Road disbanded in 1975 after releasing their second album, "Gunhill Road 2." The band members pursued other musical ventures after the breakup. In 2010, Gunhill Road reunited and released a new album titled "Every 40 Years." The band continues to perform live shows and has maintained a loyal fan base from their early days in the 1970s.
