Guns N' Roses is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. They achieved worldwide success with their debut album "Appetite for Destruction," which has sold over 30 million copies globally.
Known for their hard rock sound and rebellious image, Guns N' Roses became one of the most popular bands of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Their hits include "Sweet Child o' Mine," "Welcome to the Jungle," and "November Rain." Despite numerous lineup changes over the years, Guns N' Roses continues to tour and release new music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
